I've always wanted to make an album like this one. Right from the start, Guitar has been one of the happiest paths I've chosen to follow. And as my mind and heart circle back to the beginnings of things, I find that I want to thank the player who showed me my first chords, the friend who lent me his only guitar while my first one took forever to come through the mail, the guitarist whose playing allowed mine to fly to that place where music connects musicians in a most Magical way. So here's to all the great sessions never to be forgotten and all the great times still to come. This one's for you, Louis.
