Black Moon - John Kirnan

"Black Moon" is a guitar album. To be accurate, it's an acoustic fingerstyle guitar album of solo instrumentals. I've already released each of the pieces as singles on this site, so if you'd like to read more about them, or hear them before downloading, here are the links to each of those posts:

01 - Mystic Bookshop – 3 AM

02 - An Ocean In Between

03 - Finally Free

04 - Transformation

05 - Sliding Home

06 - Black Moon

07 - Desert Night Ride

08 - Moods of a Dancer

09 - Suite: Scarecrow Rain

Down from the Cross
If I Had Wings
Storm Flight

I've always wanted to make an album like this one. Right from the start, Guitar has been one of the happiest paths I've chosen to follow. And as my mind and heart circle back to the beginnings of things, I find that I want to thank the player who showed me my first chords, the friend who lent me his only guitar while my first one took forever to come through the mail, the guitarist whose playing allowed mine to fly to that place where music connects musicians in a most Magical way. So here's to all the great sessions never to be forgotten and all the great times still to come. This one's for you, Louis.

Thank you for your kind words. I am deeply touched.

It was a lifetime ago. A time when the whole world lay there ahead of us, waiting. Every path leading to new adventures and discoveries.

I am privileged to have you as a friend. You will always be a brother to me.

We shall continue walking together along the path of music until our journey’s end.
